Grape Ape is a mostly Indica strain that is crossed with Mendocino Purps, Skunk #1 and Afghani. It was bred by Apothecary Genetics and Barney’s Farm. The name originated from its noticeable grape-like smell. This Indica is known for providing relaxation that can help relieve stress, pain, anxiety and stress. It’s dense, compact buds are covered in deep purple leaves which eventually darken following its 7 to 8-week flowering time.
Strain Category: Hybrid (Indica Dominant)
Producer: Millennium Extracts
Potency Analysis: THC 79.1%, Terpenes 1.52%, THC Total 81.7%
Type: Concentrate / Sugar Wax
Appearance: It appeared to be a very terpey sugar wax that had a bright orange/yellow tint to it. The product looked to be a little gluey like peanut butter.
Smell: This type of concentrate has a fruity aroma with a trace of an earthy scent.
Taste: The flavors were mixed between a grape/berry taste and something sweet. It also had the somewhat taste of what roses would be like.
Effects: My eyes were instantly relaxed as I got an elevated feeling from the Indica side of the strain. It also gave me a euphoric feeling through my body, mainly in my legs.
Overall Conclusion: I would certainly suggest this strain to any Indica lover. It has most of the effects that Indicas are known for, and then some. Main St. Marijuana has had a steady supply of products from Millennium Extracts and most of them have met our standards. This just happened to be one of our favorites from them!
